I am dropping off my car today to complete all the loose ends from our original car purchase and contract.
- The motor vehicle registration paperwork has been processed, and I’m getting my original license plates installed on the new car.
- It was raining on the day of purchase, so I’m getting the window etching (security feature) completed.
- They are installing a Toyota-authorized remote starter in the vehicle, which requires new key fobs for everyone.
I still want running boards, but considering the economic climate, we didn’t feel entirely comfortable spending an additional $800 for parts and labor to get them installed. If I hit the lottery, sure we’ll do it. In the meantime, we’ll just have to get a sturdy rope for the short people trying to get into my car.
