A little bit of excitement here in Newark this morning a few blocks from my office. Around 1am, an NJ Transit bus and a taxi cab collided in the intersection fairly close to one of the parking garages owned by my company. The intersection is pretty busy, so Newark PD closed down the intersection down for hours. As of this morning, the intersection was closed, so it caused a lot of problems for folks trying to park in the morning. As I heard, engineers were concerned that removing the vehicles might destabilize the building. What a mess.
