This is just bizarre. BEE-Czar. If the background history is accurate, due to issues with procuring and showing American-made films in 1982 Turkey, they were remade with a Turkish cast and setting.
i09.com has two clips from Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam. The first clip is the Turkish version of the Star Wars finale, and the second clips is what I believe is supposed to be the Mos Eisley cantina scene, but I don’t remember all the fighting, or the “creature” in the red suit. The finale is my favorite, when Luke’s character does all the leaping and karate-chopping, kicking rocks, and then splits Darth Vader in half (and didn’t fight back?)
