Ok, so this is ancient-so-last-month news at this point, but I completely forgot to mention it. Right before Father’s Day last month, the parent-teacher organization at Lily’s elementary school hosted a breakfast for the fathers. I’ve missed much the past year, so I decided to work from home so Lily and I could go together.
(I suppose I should really try to be better at this whole timely posting thing.)
It was a pretty simple breakfast – bagels, Dunkin’ coffee, and OJ. I saw a few folks that I knew, but not too many.
It was over in 30-45 mins, after a quick speech from the principal. Lily and the rest of the students ran off to class, and I went home to start my workday. We did snap a quick pic.
