An update on my “13 in 13” fitness plan

Here’s an update on my fitness plan for the year. I’m officially calling “13 in 13” — lose 13 lbs in 2013. I’m trying to lose all 13 lbs by my birthday in late April, but it’s been a slow process. I’ve been attempting to be at the gym daily around 5 am, but that’s been few and far between. Often times, I wake up a little after 5 or 6 am, and way too late to go and still make it to the office on time. I’m making it in the mornings infrequently, but I’ve been regular on the weekends.

I have been much better on the diet portion, and am down 2 lbs to 185.3 lbs, so that’s good news.

On a slightly related note, I’m now seriously considering the MS Ride in May, but forming a new team with a friend of mine. Unfortunately, it’s called the “Squirrel Commando Squad.” As I have had an unfortunate recent history with squirrels, I’m a little disheartened, but I’ll take one for the team.
