Event #3 today was a wine tasting fundraiser at church tonight. Being one of the highlights of the weekend, we were both looking forward to attending. We bought tickets, made babysitting arrangements with the grandparents, and hey, we get to try out different fancy wines. We were about to start getting ready, when we found out there was a misunderstanding about babysitting arrangements for the kids, and it fell through. Instead, I got delegated to attend the event on my own, which was not what either of us had envisioned for the evening. Ah well, that’s life.
