Joel’s review of John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
I enjoyed the original John Wick film back in 2014. I didn’t know much about the film at all, but I was pleasantly by the film. A character played by Keanu Reeves, whom you felt genuine empathy for. Amazing action … Continue reading
Celebrating a belated Valentine’s Day
We celebrated Valentine’s Day a few days later on Saturday night. Filet mignon, roasted potatoes, and asparagus with bacon. Kids played video games in the basement and we enjoyed a candlelight dinner together.
Beautiful weather so we went to hang out the local winery
Beautiful weather today, so hung out in the afternoon at Working Dog Winery.
Grillin’ steaks on a Saturday night
Time for dinner on a Saturday night. “What should we make for dinner?” “You know, we have some NY Strip steaks in the freezer…..” I gotta say I really enjoy grilling up steaks at home. Season ’em, let ’em marinate for … Continue reading
Lily attends the Acolyte Festival
Lily attended this year’s Acolyte Festival for much of the day. We grabbed a quick breakfast from Dunkin’ Donuts, and sped down to the Episcopal cathedral in Trenton. I helped her sign up for morning and afternoon workshops (including and … Continue reading
New addition to the Ipe video library – Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Seasons 1 – 5
New addition to the Ipe video library – Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Seasons 1 – 5. We enjoy Star Wars, and the Clone Wars was appointment television in our house. I’ve already started ripping these episodes to our Plex media … Continue reading
New addition to the Ipe video library – Kubo and the Two Strings (2016)
New addition to the Ipe video library – Kubo and the Two Strings (2016). Lovely film we watched back in September, and much painstaking effort by Laika studios went into the animation.
Hanging out with Abby & Ben on a lazy Saturday
On Saturday February 4th, our niece and nephew Abby and Ben came over to hang out with us for the entire day. Their parents were off to catch a train to Manhattan to watch Avenue Q, and maybe even eat … Continue reading
