We are now the proud owners of a Frigidaire beverage cooler!
For years, I’ve wanted to get a small beverage refrigerator. FOR. YEARS. Every so often, we had a party, I’d buy all these beers and other adult beverages, we didn’t use them all, and then they cluttered up the fridge … Continue reading
Luke and I have new matching sunglasses
I recently dropped and cracked a lens in my nice blue Ray-Ban sunglasses. Argh. I ordered new ones, in gun-metal grey. Luke wanted some new ones as well, so I took him to Target to grab a pair. We’re soooooo … Continue reading
I’m seeing a new hair stylist and she’s the cutest
I recently thought about how my haircuts are fairly easy to perform. Nums offered to cut my hair, so I took her up on her offer. For the past few weeks, she’s been cutting my hair (a buzz cut) out … Continue reading
Spending July 2 at Bradley Beach with friends
We made plans with two other families to hit up Bradley Beach before the potential July 4th crowds (in a pandemic.) It was a nice day, and good to hang out other fun people.
4th month of the pandemic and I’m killing it on the bike – 436.8 miles biking and walking in June
436.8 miles in one month? Huge milestone for me. I was out biking or walking (or both) nearly every day. I often took a day or two off at the end of the week to recuperate.

A lot of people ask us about how our cats are doing. I’ve read that some pets are thrown off by their owners being home now during the pandemic. Ours? Couldn’t care less, really. They come and go, rotating between … Continue reading
We celebrated Father’s Day with a hike and a nice dinner
Happy Father’s Day! I started this year’s Father’s Day by sleeping in, if you can believe it. My usual Sunday group ride was held the day before instead. In the afternoon, Nums, Luke, and I went on a hike at … Continue reading
An anti-climactic last day of school
What anti-climactic end to the school year. The end of school usually means the big good-byes, signing of yearbooks, the big bus ride home. With the kids home for the past few months, there was no perceptible end of school … Continue reading
Josh and I rode 10 miles around Princeton to get him to his 100 miles goal before the end of the school year
Josh told me that he had a personal goal to hit 100 miles before the end of the school year. With the end of school coming up on Thursday, he was running out of time. I went on a group … Continue reading
