In October 2006, we flew to Houston for Paul and Biji's engagement.
A typical Ipe trip. Late to the airport, running through the airport, delayed 90 minutes on the runway, lost baggage. Still, at least we got there in one piece. After arriving in Houston, and eventually getting our luggage, we got a late lunch at Waffle House, checked into the hotel, and then went to a late dinner with the rest of the out-of-towners.

The engagement started at 11:30am, and I was a co-emcee with a woman named Manju (Biji's friend.) The ceremony went well, and wrapped up around 3pm. In the evening, the three of us went to visit the Houston Jacobs. After visiting them at home (and their parents), brother and sister Josh and Janet took us out to see the local Diwali festival, and then a Tex-Mex dinner at Cafe Adobe.

We missed our flight, and all flights to Newark were booked that day. We ended up waiting 5 hours at the airport, then flying to LaGuardia, and having Julie and her fiance Robby come rescue us from Queens at 9:30pm. We drove to Newark airport to retrieve our luggage, and our car parked at the lot. By the time we got home, and got to bed, it was 2am. Yesh.
