About 5 years ago, at the behest of my persistent wife, I applied for a parking permit at the Princeton Junction train station. It’s a 5 year waiting list. Nearly two years ago, they completed the new Vaughn Drive parking lot, I switched to taking the train out of Princeton Junction instead, thus shortening my commute. Life was better. It’s a 10 minute walk, but at least I’m not driving 40 minutes south to then travel north.
5 years finally came around, and I received word that I could park at the closer Alexander Road lot starting Oct 1st. It’s been two weeks now, and you can may note in the picture above that I can actually see the train station now when I park. If I get to the station early enough in the morning, I can now park and get to the platform in 2-3 minutes. That’s phenomenal.
Another small victory for the Ipe clan.
