Update on our big move

We have only about a week to go until closing on our new house. In the midst of all the packing up our belongings,  cleaning up the house, getting our new mortgage approved, finding movers, buying new furniture, and moving utilities, we still need to get our townhouse on the market. No easy feat. The past two months have been a rollercoaster of both emotions and checks being written to contractors, late nights renovating, and trips and trips and trips to Home Depot and Lowe’s. This weekend, we finally finished most of the work. Between new carpeting, fresh paint, new fixtures, the house is nearly completely staged. Just so that we could have more control over the listing process, we made the decision to take the listing photos ourselves. Here are the townhouse listing photos that we dropped off to the realtor this evening, before the Ipe family went out to celebrate this milestone with Japanese hibachi.
