I’ve been rethinking my prior strategy of not investing in good qualty shoes. I always wear out my shoes fairly quickly, so why bother spending the money on good ones? Turns out, you supposedly can resuscitate or repair the better quality shoes, which might explain why my cheaper dress shoes never look that after polishing.
I needed some decent looking brown dress shoes, so I’m experimenting with nicer ones. I ordered these Cole Haan Oxfords off of Amazon.com. I think they look nice enough, but they feel a smidge too tight. However, I’m hoping they just need time to stretch out over the course of the next few days.
Let the unscientific shoe experiment begin!
