It’s December 31st, and it’s almost the last day of their vacation. The office was empty, and there was a strong likelihood that the office would also close early today. Why not bring the kids? Normally I would want to take the train, but between buying them tickets, the roads being empty, and not wanting to make them walk far in the cold, I decided we’d be better off driving in. Having a new car didn’t hurt either! They had a good time. They brought their backpacks filled with books, markers, and movies. We had breakfast from the cafeteria, pizza for lunch with some of my coworkers, and got out around 3pm.
