The Batcave is complete, my last peripherals are now set up

It’s all here. The Batcave is complete. A new faster desktop PC in late December / early January. The new dual monitors earlier this month. And now, the new and improved wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and an HD webcam. Suh-weeeeeeet!

The K800 keyboard arrived yesterday, and it was fairly easy to set up — plug it in, and boom, recognized. Same for the c920 webcam. The mouse, on the other hand, was another story. This took me a while to figure out, but I finally got the Logitech Unifying softwre to recognize it. I took a look at the My Devices, and it sure looks purtty. Now I can rest, enjoying what I have, without dreaming about something new to get.

That’s not entirely true, as I’m considering the benefits of a SSD drive. Maybe 2013.

First off, I am a little jealous of your setup. 2 24s? Damn! I am down to one 22 at home now. It sucks. I’m planning on working on the study soon. I got some ideas from one i saw this weekend.

Love the mouse, hate the keyboard. I have one of those at work, and I absolutely hate it. When I picked it up, it felt so flimsy. My favorite keyboard is the Logitech Illuminated Ultrathin Keyboard. I just wish it was wireless.

Either way, I like the setup. Now you’ve inspired me to work on mine.

I can not lie — I’m lovin’ the new Batcave.

Funny, I’ve got the opposite situation. I actually like the keyboard a lot, but am getting used to the mouse, particularly the scroll wheel.

Not only am I sold on the dual monitor setup, my wife is beginning to appreciate the benefits.
