I watched Wanted on Cinemax this week. Have you seen it?  It’s a bit wacky. I had no interest in watching this film in the theaters when it was released last year, but on cable?  Eh why not? Surprisingly, it wasn’t all that bad.  It may not make a whole lot of sense (Loom of Fate, anyone?), but from a stupid-yet-entertaining aspect, it fit the bill. A strangely enjoyable action movie. A decent cast — James McAvoy (good actor in Atonement), Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, and even rapper Common.

No-name inconsequential young man finds out there’s more to himself than he thought. Age-old cliche, but it worked on a sort of level. I’m surprised at my own enjoyment of this movie.
